Alarm Systems?

What’s the difference between a professionally installed home security system and a do-it-yourself security system kit? When it comes to protecting your home and family, you have many options. You can purchase a do-it-yourself "kit" or have a system installed by a professional security dealer. With something as important as the protection of your family and home, we highly recommend that your security system be installed by a professional security dealer. A security professional has the specialized training and expertise to do a thorough evaluation of your home, and identify vulnerable areas that need protection most. They will also use their knowledge and experience to customize a system to your specific needs and lifestyle. Finally, ALL security systems should be linked to a monitoring station, also known as the "central station". The central station will watch over your home 24 hours a day and will call for help in the event of intrusion, emergency or fire. How does my security system protect me against loss of life and property in the event of a fire? A critical life-saving element of any home security system is its smoke detectors. In the event of a fire, your smoke detector sends a signal to the security system’s control panel, which causes an audible alarm to warn you and your family of trouble. Your security system also sends a signal to your 24-hour central station, who then calls your local fire department. A key point is that unlike standalone smoke detectors, your security system can call for help even when you’re not home. Isn’t a home security system difficult to use? Today, home security systems are easier to use than ever before. In fact, many of a security system’s features can be activated with just the touch of a button. There is also a wide range of remote control options available, like a remote key fob that looks just like the remote for a car alarm. You can arm or disarm your security system anywhere in or around your home. How can a home security simplify my life? A high quality security system can provide you with more than security. Today, alarm systems can be programmed to control lights and appliances, record voice messages and even page you when your children arrive home from school. Security Concepts, Inc. proudly uses ADEMCO systems.
